Making CPOs Work: A Policy Roundtable is an online conversation for local authorities, policymakers and community organisations, running from 12–1.30pm on Wednesday 21 October.

Rather than a webinar or panel, it's a conversational roundtable — bringing together voices from across the CPO system, including MHCLG, a lawyer, community organisations and local authorities all working on this from different angles.

We'll be exploring both the opportunities and the practical barriers: what stops local authorities from using CPOs, what would make them more functional in practice, what funding, policy or legislative changes could help, and where CPOs have worked well, including how they could better support community organisations bringing vacant or problematic properties back into use.
